What we collect
- Your name, email address and an optional short bio.
- Your password, stored in scrambled (hashed) form so we cannot read it.
- The jobs you apply to.
- Subscription and payment records: Paystack reference, amount, status and date.
- Basic technical information in our server logs.
How we use it
To run your account, unlock access when you subscribe, process and renew payments, show your applications, give support, keep the service secure, and send job alert emails to people who sign up for them and to active subscribers (you can unsubscribe with the link in any email, or switch them off in your Profile). If you sign up for alerts we keep your email address and your category and work-mode choices.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
- Paystack processes payments. You enter card details on Paystack, and we receive only a reference, the payment status, and a token that lets us charge your weekly renewal.
- Our hosting, database and email providers store data or send emails (such as password-reset emails) on our behalf.
- We do not sell your data. We may share it if the law requires.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service is completely secure.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed for payment and accounting records. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, and you may have rights to do so under Nigerian data protection law. Contact us using the details below.
